John D. Walters
John, the President of our company, is the third generation of his family to lead this brokerage. He has an exemplary background in sales and client relations, as well as formal education and progressive experience with business management. Since 1991, Mr. Walters has led the brokerage through a number of significant stages of growth, based both on acquisitions and organic development. Mr. Walters has served as a Director on a varierty of Boards, and as faculty with the Directors College of the Conference Board of Canada.
James C. Broad
Jamie, our Chief Operating Officer, is a psychologist specializing in leading organizations with licensed staff. Dr. Broad’s senior management experience encompasses operational leadership, human resources, quality assurance, accreditation, strategic planning, board development and project management. He is McLean Hallmark and Navigators’ Privacy Officer and is responsible for our brokerages’ compliance with relevant legislation, including the various privacy acts.
Dave has been in the life/investment insurance industry for over 35 years, previously with Crown Life, Excelsior Life later known as Aetna Canada selling life/investment products and recruiting and managing life agents. In the late 1980′s Dave joined McLean Hallmark Insurance Brokers and in 2002 become an equity partner in the life division, becoming President of what is now known as McLean Hallmark Financial Ltd.
Tim is the Vice-President of Navigators Insurance, and has 34 years of insurance experience in a variety of roles and responsibilities. The last 15 years have been focused on recruiting, training and coaching sales teams and successful individuals. Tim emphasizes “We really want to get to know the customers we work with – this allows us to match product and pricing with the needs and lifestyle of the successful customers we work with. At Navigators Insurance Brokers, our goal is to attract new clients, while exceeding the expectations of our valued customers”.
Barb has been in the industry since 1988, the last 19 years as an employee of Navigators, She has enjoyed a progressive career of service provision and team leadership . Barbara is the customer service specialist for our high net-worth clientele and also leads our service and systems training programme.
